IWCF Level 1
Drilling and Well Control Awareness
Overview
The IWCF Level 1 Well Control Awareness course is a free, self-paced programme delivered online directly through IWCF. It provides an introduction to the principles of well control, including the role of barriers, pressure basics, and kick warning signs.
This course is intended for students, graduates, and industry newcomers who want a general awareness of well control, but it is not valid for operational certification.
Drilling School Asia Pacific does not deliver this training, candidates must complete it through the IWCF website.
Important note
Level 1 is an optional awareness course and is not a prerequisite for Level 2, 3, or 4. It is completed online via IWCF, not at our training centre. If you require operational certification, please see our IWCF Level 2 or Level 3 & 4 Combined courses.
